Privacy Policy

Natalie's Hair Atelier does not sell any personal information and any information collected is for in-house use only. When making an appointment, a client does disclose their name, phone number, and email. This will be on file for as long as the client is active within the company. The client does have the option to share other personal information with the business (i.e. mailing address, birthday, alternate phone numbers, etc) that may also be kept on file for the time they are an active clients with Natalie's Hair Atelier. By creating an account, by default, you are giving the business permission to access the information. And by creating an appointment, you are adhering to the business's policies.

The information provided by the client will be deleted from the file after they are considered an "inactive client" after not having business with the company for 12 months or longer. At that time, the client can re-create a new file if they decide to support this business again. This business does have the authority to delete a client file at any time before that for any reason they feel is necessary.

Natalie's Hair Atelier will document notes (i.e. color formulas, haircut reminders, possible upcoming important dates, etc) on the client's file. These notes are only seen by the sole proprietor and are not shared with any entities.

If the client would like to have their information deleted, they may request this by emailing the company at nataliehairatelier@gmail.com or going to the online portal and deleting the information there.

Marketing

​

Natalie's Hair Atelier will send out monthly newsletters, and very rare promotions, updates in the business, etc via EMail. To remove yourself from those, scroll to the bottom on the email, and click unsubscribe. This will remove the client's data from additional emails from the company.

​

To remove the client data from receiving appointment reminders, go to the online portal and unselect any communications not desired and save profile to update. Or email the owner of the company and that will be complete on the backend within 24 hours of the request.

Payment Information

​

Natalie's Hair Atelier does not keep any payment information on file, nor sells that data. At the time of any purchasing, payment information is not kept on file or disclosed in any other form with the company.

How do we keep your information safe?

​

We have organizational and technical processes and procedures in place to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guarenteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.

Other Personal Disclosures

​

On occasion, the owner may ask to take a picture of their work on the client. Though the owner is focused solely on their work as a hairstylist, the client is within their right to refuse. The owner may use those pictures on their social media pages for Natalie's Hair Atelier, and will not be using it for personal reasons. However, the pictures are stored on their personal phone for a short time, and moved over to their business Google Drive. The owner my use those pictures well after the fact the client has moved, or is no longer in business with Natalie Hair Atelier.

The owner may also use those photos for marketing reasons being sent out to other active clients. And also as inspiration photos for one-on-one appointments with other clients of the business. In all instances, the client may refuse the owner to use any photo they are uncomfortable with.
